Jonathan Wall, Custom Home Builder, Inc. is a small, privately owned corporation that specializes in custom-built homes, renovations, and mold remediation. President of the company, Jonathan Wall has been a North Carolina licensed general contractor since 1995. Jonathan is a 1991 graduate of Campbell University with a degree in Business Administration & Marketing and also a graduate of Regent University School of Law.
While growing up surrounded by tobacco farms in rural, southern Wake County, Jonathan’s love for architecture was clearly evident by a project he remembers completing in middle school, “One of my very first construction projects was building a log cabin (from scratch) reminiscent of early colonial life while in the eighth grade!” He further quipped, “My teacher was astounded when I brought this project in, as it was extremely detailed and carefully thought out.” Not only did he receive high marks on this project, it was the fuel that ignited a huge spark to continue his life-long dreams of professional building.
While this eighth grade project was an unintentional springboard to propel his life-passion, he continued his drive of studying construction under the tutelage of Waymon Byrd, a Master Builder, and resident carpentry teacher at Fuquay-Varina High School. Jonathan remembers him as, “very stern, unless our project was next to perfect, he would not allow it to go outside of the carpentry class doors.” This early training, coupled with perfection, helped to set the stage for his career in the building industry.
Jonathan Wall is also a member of the Johnston County Home Builders Association and won numerous awards in their annual Parade of Homes.
Jonathan Wall, Custom Home Builder, Inc. is not limited to building only in Johnston County. Jonathan also builds in Wake and Harnett Counties. His homes have ranged from 1200 to 3500 square feet. Jonathan loves working with customers from the planning stages until the finishing touches have been put on each home. He is a hands-on builder who strives for 100% customer satisfaction.
